MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS✅ 400k V Substation HSE experience in UAE✅ GIS/AIS Substation experience✅ TAQA and/or Masdar project experience✅ UAE-based candidates only✅ NEBOSH IGC✅ 400k V switching, LOTO, PTW, isolation & energization✅ HV electrical safety, testing & commissioning✅ HIRA/JSA, SIMOPS, lifting & critical-risk management✅ IFC Performance Standards / World Bank EHS Guidelines / Equator Principles experience✅ HSE auditing, contractor management & KPI reporting
????️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Lead the HSE function for the 400k V GIS Substation project.• Manage electrical safety, PTW, LOTO, isolation, switching and energization.• Ensure safe execution of GIS, transformers, switchgear, busbars and HV cable works.• Oversee HSE requirements for testing, commissioning and energization.• Review HIRA/JSA, Method Statements, lifting plans and SIMOPS.• Conduct HSE inspections, audits, toolbox talks and emergency drills.• Lead incident investigations and corrective/preventive actions.• Manage contractor/subcontractor HSE performance and compliance.• Monitor HSE KPIs and ensure compliance with TAQA/client and IFC/E&S requirements.• Promote a strong Zero Harm safety culture across the project.
