• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on heavy trucks and commercial vehicles. • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, axles, braking and suspension systems. • Maintain and repair transit mixer trucks. • Maintain and repair truck-mounted concrete pumps. • Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, pumps, valves and cylinders. • Carry out preventative maintenance and inspections. • Troubleshoot • Attend to vehicle breakdowns and carry out field repairs when required. • Ensure vehicles and equipment are maintained to a high standard of safety and reliability.

Desired Candidate Profile

Proven Experience as Heavy Truck/Diesel Mechanic. • Hands-on experience with concrete pump trucks & transit mixers is essential. • Strong knowledge of hydraulics and heavy-duty vehicle systems. • Experience with brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, MAN, Scania or similar. • Experience in the ready-mix/concrete construction industry is preferred. • Ability to diagnose faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment. • Experience with, Putzmeister, Schwing ,Zoomlion, SANY or similar concrete pumps. • Ability to work independently and as a part of a workshop team. • GCC experience is preferred.
