Job Details

  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration on all gym equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety, addressing issues before they escalate.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in cardio, strength, and functional training machines, utilizing technical manuals and diagnostic tools.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and preventative maintenance checks, documenting all findings and actions taken to maintain a safe workout environment.
  • Respond promptly to equipment malfunction reports from members and staff, prioritizing urgent repairs to minimize downtime and member inconvenience.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possession of a vocational certificate or associate's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical technology, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing fitness equipment in a commercial gym or similar setting.
  • Certification in basic electrical and mechanical repair, with a preference for specialized fitness equipment certifications.
  • Proficiency in reading technical schematics and blueprints for a wide range of gym machinery.
