Job Purpose
The HR Welfare & Medical Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating comprehensive employee welfare and medical support services for a large, multicultural workforce. The role ensures employee well-being, timely medical assistance, effective welfare interventions, confidentiality of employee information, and compliance with UAE labor regulations, healthcare requirements, insurance standards, and company policies.
The position serves as a key liaison between employees, HR, operations, healthcare providers, insurance companies, government authorities, embassies, and management to ensure efficient resolution of employee welfare and medical matters.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Welfare & Support
Manage end-to-end employee welfare services, ensuring employees receive timely, professional, and appropriate support.
Handle employee concerns, complaints, grievances, and welfare-related matters with professionalism, confidentiality, empathy, and timely resolution.
Provide counseling, guidance, and support to employees regarding personal, medical, workplace, and welfare-related matters.
Build employee trust and engagement through proactive welfare support and effective communication.
Identify workplace welfare concerns and escalate critical or sensitive issues to management with appropriate recommendations and corrective actions.
Promote a safe, healthy, respectful, and positive working environment through proactive employee welfare initiatives.
HR & Employee Relations Support
Support HR and operational teams in managing absenteeism, employee welfare interventions, disciplinary matters, and return-to-work processes.
Provide welfare-related input during employee relations cases while maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Assist management in identifying employee welfare risks and developing appropriate support measures.
Maintain effective communication with employees and operational teams to ensure welfare issues are addressed promptly.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Psychology, or a related discipline.
3–7 years of relevant experience in HR welfare, employee relations, medical coordination, employee support, or a similar role, preferably within a large-scale or multicultural workforce.
UAE experience is preferred.
Experience in coordinating medical cases, insurance approvals, workplace injuries, employee welfare, and hospital/clinic services is highly desirable.
Experience handling deceased employee repatriation and coordination with government authorities, embassies, airlines, hospitals, and families is an advantage.
Good working knowledge of UAE labor regulations, employee welfare practices, healthcare procedures, and insurance processes.
Experience working with multinational or large-volume employee populations is preferred.
