SENIOR BUSINESS PARTNER – FUNDRAISING & PROJECT FINANCE

Location: Dubai, UAE
Job Type: Hybrid | Project-Based / Strategic Partnership
Market Focus: India
Organization: BLACKBULL LAW HOUSE / BLACKBULL Chamber of Investment

Company Description

BLACKBULL LAW HOUSE, a corporate Legal Tech company operating under the management of BLACKBULL Chamber of Investment, is expanding its international fundraising and investment collaboration platform from Dubai.

BLACKBULL is developing a cross-border financing and investment ecosystem connecting Dubai-based investors, financial institutions, family offices, corporate institutions, private capital providers, and strategic partners with qualifying Indian businesses and projects.

The focus is on arranging capital for Indian companies and projects backed by eligible Indian business assets, properties, receivables, cash flows, and other acceptable security or investment structures, subject to applicable laws, lender policies, valuation, due diligence, and transaction-specific terms.

Role Description

Senior Business Partner – Fundraising & Project Finance

BLACKBULL is seeking an experienced Fundraising, Project Finance, Corporate Finance, or Investment Banking professional based in Dubai who can independently originate and execute fundraising opportunities for Indian projects and companies.

This is not a training or learning position. The selected professional must have the capability, network, and execution experience to identify capital providers, structure funding proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and coordinate transactions through financial closure.

The professional will operate from Dubai while focusing primarily on fundraising for qualifying projects and businesses in India.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and arrange funding for Indian companies, projects, acquisitions, and asset-backed opportunities.
- Develop relationships with Dubai/UAE-based investors, family offices, private-credit funds, investment firms, corporate institutions, banks, NBFCs, AIFs, PE/VC investors, and strategic capital providers.
- Build an international investor and financing network connecting Dubai capital with Indian opportunities.
- Evaluate project requirements, capital structures, asset backing, repayment capacity, cash flows, and proposed returns.
- Structure suitable debt, equity, project finance, structured finance, asset-backed finance, strategic investment, profit-sharing, or other legally permissible funding arrangements.
- Coordinate funding proposals, financial models, investment memorandums, due-diligence requirements, term sheets, and transaction documentation with relevant professional advisors.
- Identify opportunities where eligible Indian property or business assets may support financing, subject to independent valuation, lender criteria, legal enforceability, regulatory requirements, and applicable financing limits.
- Develop commercially viable investor-return structures, including interest, equity participation, profit sharing, revenue sharing, or other agreed investment mechanisms, where legally and commercially appropriate.
- Build long-term alliances between Indian companies and Dubai-based capital providers.
- Coordinate with Indian promoters, project owners, legal advisors, accountants, valuation professionals, lenders, and investors.
- Help establish a structured Dubai–India fundraising and investment collaboration platform for larger-scale projects.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure that all fundraising activities comply with applicable UAE and Indian financial, securities, foreign-exchange, tax, AML/KYC, and investment regulations.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a proven transaction professional, not someone seeking an opportunity merely to learn fundraising.

The ideal candidate should have:

- 8–15+ years of relevant experience in fundraising, project finance, investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, structured finance, asset-backed finance, or institutional investment.
- A demonstrable track record of successfully arranging substantial capital for businesses or projects.
- Strong investor and institutional relationships in Dubai/UAE and/or India.
- Ability to originate investors independently rather than relying solely on company-generated leads.
- Experience negotiating with family offices, institutional investors, private-credit funds, banks, NBFCs, PE/VC funds, AIFs, or strategic investors.
- Strong understanding of Indian corporate assets, property-backed financing, business cash flows, project finance, and investment structures.
- Ability to assess whether a proposed transaction is genuinely financeable before approaching investors.
- Excellent negotiation, financial analysis, presentation, relationship-management, and transaction-execution skills.
- Existing Dubai/UAE business relationships will be a significant advantage.

Fundraising Mandate

The primary mandate is to raise capital for qualifying Indian projects and businesses through Dubai-based and international capital relationships.

Potential funding structures may include:

Equity Investment | Project Finance | Structured Debt | Asset-Backed Finance | Private Credit | Strategic Investment | Acquisition Finance | Working Capital | Revenue/Profit-Sharing Structures

For asset-backed transactions, funding levels will not be predetermined or guaranteed. Financing may be considered up to an appropriate percentage of independently verified asset value, potentially around 40% in qualifying cases, depending on valuation, title, liquidity, cash flow, borrower strength, lender policy, regulatory requirements, and transaction risk.

Dubai–India Strategic Platform

The selected Senior Business Partner will contribute to developing a long-term Dubai–India fundraising and investment collaboration model, under which Dubai-based capital relationships can be connected with eligible Indian projects and businesses.

The objective is to create an institutional framework for:

Indian Projects → Due Diligence & Structuring → Dubai Investor Network → Capital Arrangement → India Project Deployment → Monitoring & Reporting → Investor Returns

The role may also involve developing strategic relationships for future capitalisation, portfolio management, and reinvestment opportunities through Dubai, subject to applicable UAE and Indian regulations.

Compensation & Partnership Benefits

Equity participation and salary-based benefits are available with BLACKBULL, subject to the candidate's experience, role structure, responsibilities, and mutually agreed terms.

Performance-linked incentives may also be considered for successfully completed fundraising mandates.

The compensation structure will be discussed with shortlisted candidates based on demonstrated fundraising capability and transaction experience.

Performance Expectations

This position is intended for a professional who can deliver measurable fundraising results within agreed transaction timelines.

Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate:

1. Major fundraising transactions completed.
2. Investor/institutional relationships currently accessible.
3. Typical transaction size handled.
4. Sectors and geographies covered.
5. Funding structures successfully arranged.
6. Examples of transactions taken from mandate/origination through financial closure.

BLACKBULL is seeking execution capability, established relationships, and measurable transaction experience—not theoretical knowledge alone.
