A valid Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) license is mandatory and a primary requirement for this position.
More than 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within MEP and building services projects in Dubai.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Design and develop electrical systems and components, ensuring compliance with DEWA requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Conduct detailed electrical calculations, including load estimation, cable sizing, and voltage drop calculations.
Prepare and review electrical drawings, technical specifications, and documentation for DEWA submissions and approvals.
Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and MEP teams to coordinate electrical works across projects.
Manage project timelines and budgets while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Supervise electrical installations, testing, and commissioning to ensure compliance with approved designs.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant electrical design and analysis software.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications, demonstrating expertise and commitment to the field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering roles, preferably within manufacturing or energy sectors.
- Experience with CAD software and simulation tools, showcasing proficiency in design and analysis.
