Job Title: Site Engineer

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Site Engineer to join our team for an ongoing high-rise construction project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily site activities, ensuring construction work aligns with drawings and specifications, and supporting the Project Manager in the smooth execution of the project. This is an immediate requirement, and candidates who can join without delay will be given priority.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities on site to ensure work progresses as per schedule

• Interpret and implement construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications accurately

• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams to ensure smooth workflow

• Ensure construction work complies with quality standards, safety regulations, and project specifications

• Conduct regular site inspections and report any deviations, defects, or issues to the Project Manager

• Monitor and verify material quantities, deliveries, and usage on site

• Maintain accurate site records, including daily progress reports, logbooks, and site diaries

• Assist in preparing and updating project schedules and work programs

• Coordinate with surveyors for site layout, leveling, and setting out works

• Liaise with consultants, architects, and other engineers to resolve technical issues on site

• Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols at all times

• Support the Project Manager in workforce planning, productivity monitoring, and resource allocation

• Identify potential risks or delays and escalate issues promptly for timely resolution

• Participate in site meetings and provide technical input as required

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably on high-rise or large-scale construction projects

• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management principles

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks on site

• Immediate availability to join is highly preferred

• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Umm Al Quwain
