Job Summary
IIQAF Group is seeking a hardworking and technically minded
Assistant Electrician to support electrical maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting activities across our hospitality facilities in Dubai. The Assistant Electrician will work under the supervision of electricians and maintenance technicians to ensure
electrical systems, equipment, lighting, power supplies, wiring, and electrical fixtures operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist electricians with the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
- Support electrical work in hotel rooms, restaurants, kitchens, offices, corridors, public areas, service areas, and other hospitality facilities.
- Assist with installing and maintaining lighting fixtures, switches, sockets, power outlets, electrical panels, and other electrical components.
- Assist with maintaining accurate records of electrical maintenance activities and completed work orders.
- Coordinate with HVAC technicians, plumbers, carpenters, maintenance staff, and other engineering teams when carrying out combined maintenance work.
- Follow electrical safety, lockout/tagout, PPE, fire safety, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Ensure electrical work is performed safely and with minimum disruption to guests and hotel operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, technical diploma, ITI certificate, vocational qualification, or equivalent is preferred.
- Electrical trade certificate or relevant technical training is an advantage.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Electrician, Electrical Helper, Electrical Technician Assistant, Electrical Helper Technician, or Junior Electrician is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, electrical installation, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with electrical tools, cables, conduits, switches, sockets, lighting fixtures, and circuit protection devices.
- Basic understanding of electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Experience in hotels, resorts, restaurants, commercial buildings, construction, or facilities management is preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions from qualified electricians and maintenance supervisors.
- Knowledge of basic workplace electrical safety procedures.
- Willingness to learn and develop practical electrical maintenance skills.

الأنظمة الكهربائية، والمعدات، والإضاءة، ومصادر الطاقة، والتمديدات، والتركيبات الكهربائية بأمان وكفاءة.
المسؤوليات الرئيسية
- مساعدة الكهربائيين في تركيب الأنظمة والمعدات الكهربائية وصيانتها وإصلاحها واستكشاف أخطائها وإصلاحها.
- دعم الأعمال الكهربائية في غرف الفنادق، والمطاعم، والمطابخ، والمكاتب، والممرات، والمناطق العامة، ومناطق الخدمات، وغيرها من منشآت الضيافة.
- المساعدة في تركيب وصيانة تركيبات الإضاءة، والمفاتيح، والمقابس، ومنافذ الطاقة، واللوحات الكهربائية، والمكونات الكهربائية الأخرى.
- المساعدة في الاحتفاظ بسجلات دقيقة لأنشطة الصيانة الكهربائية وأوامر العمل المكتملة.
- التنسيق مع فنيي التكييف، والسباكين، والنجارين، وموظفي الصيانة، والفرق الهندسية الأخرى عند تنفيذ أعمال الصيانة المشتركة.
- اتباع إجراءات السلامة الكهربائية، وإغلاق المصادر/وضع علامات التحذير (Lockout/Tagout)، ومعدات الحماية الشخصية (PPE)، والسلامة من الحرائق، وصحة وسلامة مكان العمل.
- ضمان تنفيذ الأعمال الكهربائية بأمان وبأقل قدر من الإزعاج للضيوف وعمليات الفندق.
المؤهلات المطلوبة
- ُيفضل الحصول على شهادة الثانوية العامة، أو دبلوم فني، أو شهادة معهد التدريب المهني (ITI)، أو مؤهل مهني، أو ما يعادل ذلك.
- تعتبر شهادة الحرفة الكهربائية أو التدريب الفني ذات الصلة ميزة إضافية.
- ُيفضل وجود خبرة سابقة كمساعد كهربائي، أو مساعد أعمال كهربائية، أو مساعد فني كهرباء، أو فني كهرباء مبتدئ.
- معرفة أساسية بالتمديدات الكهربائية، والتركيبات الكهربائية، والصيانة.
- الإلمام بالأدوات الكهربائية، والكابلات، والأنابيب، والمفاتيح، والمقابس، وتركيبات الإضاءة، وأجهزة حماية الدوائر الكهربائية.
- فهم أساسي للرسومات الكهربائية ومخططات التمديدات.
- ُيفضل وجود خبرة في الفنادق، أو المنتجات، أو المطاعم، أو المباني التجارية، أو الإنشاءات، أو إدارة المرافق.
- القدرة على اتباع التعليمات من الكهربائيين المؤهلين ومشرفي الصيانة.
- المعرفة بإجراءات السلامة الكهربائية الأساسية في مكان العمل.
