Own the full accounting cycle for a group of 3 companies in construction/contracting and equipment rental, through month-end and year-end close
Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations and group consolidation
Run accounts payable and receivable: supplier payments, customer invoicing and collections
Prepare bank reconciliations and track daily cash position and cash flow
Deliver monthly MIS reports to management (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, receivables ageing)
Prepare and file UAE VAT returns with the FTA and keep VAT records audit-ready
Process monthly payroll and WPS salary transfers; maintain gratuity and leave accruals
Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors through the year-end audit
Provide data to and coordinate with external consultants on UAE Corporate Tax
Lead and review the work of a small team of junior accountants
Report directly to the owner/management
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance; CA, ACCA or CMA preferred
5–10 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in the UAE
Experience in construction/contracting or equipment rental companies
Hands-on experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems
Working knowledge of UAE VAT, WPS and end-of-service gratuity rules
Experience handling multiple entities and consolidation
Strong Excel skills
Currently in the UAE and able to join immediately
