Fekra Centre is a licensed children's development centre in Baniyas, Abu Dhabi. Our early-years programme, Fekra Buds, looks after children aged 2–5 in a warm, safe, play-based setting. We're looking for a caring, creative Kindergarten Teacher to lead one of our classrooms.

Job Description
You will lead a Fekra Buds classroom and plan and deliver daily activities that help young children learn through play. You'll report to the Academic Coordinator, work with a nanny/assistant, and keep in regular contact with parents.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily and weekly lessons: circle time, early literacy, numbers, arts and crafts, music, and play-based learning

• Submit weekly lesson plans to the Academic Coordinator for review and approval

• Create a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment

• Manage the daily routine: arrival, activities, snack and meal times, rest, and dismissal

• Supervise and guide the classroom nanny/assistant

• Observe each child's development and keep simple progress records

• Share children's progress updates and any concerns with the Academic Coordinator, and attend regular check-ins and team meetings

• Communicate with parents every day at drop-off and pick-up, and share regular updates and photos through the centre's channels

• Support children's social, emotional, and language development, including helping new children settle in

• Follow the centre's health, safety, and hygiene procedures

• Prepare the classroom for seasonal events, themes, and celebrations

• Help with other centre programmes when needed; flexibility is important in this role

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field

• At least 1 year of experience teaching children aged 2–5

• Warm, patient, and energetic with young children

• Creative, with ideas for hands-on activities

• Good classroom management and organisation skills

• Good spoken and written English; Arabic is a strong plus

• Currently in the UAE and available to join immediately

• Able to provide a Good Conduct Certificate

• Living in or near Baniyas is preferred

Nice to Have

• First Aid / CPR certificate

• Experience with the EYFS or Montessori approach

• Experience working with a bilingual (Arabic/English) classroom
