The WB™ Abu Dhabi, Curio Collection by Hilton is seeking a creative Graphic Designer and Social Media Executive to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging visual content and managing our social media presence across multiple platforms.

Responsible for the formatting and design creation of visual images and copy using computer assisted programs. Translates marketing content into a conceptual visual framework for the hotel’s offline and digital communications platforms such as website, mobile applications, social media channels, advertising, collateral, etc. using a mix of creative skills and commercial awareness. Create stimulating and appealing visual images and copy which is in keeping with the established Hilton brand standards and WB brand guidelines to be inline with IP. Assist the Marketing team in creating a tangible aspect to the services of the hotel through the creation of specific market collateral and artwork. Work in tandem with the Head of Department – Marketing to create a unified and distinct visual style of the hotel.

QUALITY

  • Think creatively and produce new ideas in creative concepts that align with brand goals and objectives.
  • Interpret master concepts and develop design deliverables that are in line with the overall brand vision.
  • Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on a deep understanding of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
  • Work with a wide range of media, including photography, videography, graphic design, and web design to deliver diverse creative assets.
  • Adapt existing artwork to ensure the visual look and feel is consistent, maintaining brand integrity across all deliverables.
  • Master artwork adaptation for use across different campaign deliverables to support commercial priorities.
  • Present finalized design concepts in a professional manner, ensuring they are visually aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Create visually appealing and aesthetically pleasing visual images and copy that reflect the hotel’s style while adhering to brand standards and advertising guidelines.
  • Create a clear and defined perception of the hotel in the minds of both internal and external guests through visual and non-visual mediums.
  • Work within agreed standards and guidelines for all brand communications to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Photography and image capture, including sourcing new creative concepts to enhance design work.
  • Handle all internal photo shooting requests, ensuring high-quality images for various projects.
  • Update menus and adapt designs as required to meet the business needs, ensuring ongoing relevance.
  • Design and create visual graphics for use across digital and print media, including social media, websites, e-newsletters (EDM), advertisements, promotional materials, and other marketing collateral.
  • Creation of all collaterals in both English and Arabic languages to cater to diverse audiences.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy for The WB Abu Dhabi’s social media platforms, ensuring content aligns with the brand.
  • Create engaging social media content (including graphics, animations, videos, and written copy) that is consistent with The WB Abu Dhabi's brand voice and guidelines.
  • Manage social media campaigns, including the development of a social media calendar, scheduling, posting, and community management to increase engagement and drive traffic to the website.
  • Develop and maintain a marketing artwork archive for all artwork files, ensuring easy access and efficient organization.
  • Set up and maintain a well-organized library for all image files, ensuring consistency and easy retrieval for future use.
  • Respond to design requests and execute tasks in a timely manner, ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed in line with established workflow metrics.
  • Ensure high-quality design execution within the required timeframe, maintaining a balance between creativity and efficiency.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Proven Experience:
    • Minimum of three years of experience in graphic design and social media content creation.
    • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer and Social Media Content Creator, with a strong portfolio showcasing work across digital and print media.
  • Graphic Design Expertise:
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
    • Strong knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in producing precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
    • Proficiency with all prevalent MS Office and any other design software programs.
    • Results-driven accountability for all graphic design efforts, which are tracked and evaluated.
    • Experience in creating engaging content for social media, including graphics, videos, animations, and written copy.
    • Portfolio of quality design samples, projects, campaigns, etc.
  • Photography & Videography:
    • Experience with photography and videography, including product photography, lifestyle shoots, and video editing.
    • Familiarity with cameras, lighting setups, and editing software (e.g., Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
    • Ability to use a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design.
  • Social Media Expertise:
    • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and tools (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
    • Knowledge of social media metrics and analytics tools (e.g., Meta, Google Analytics, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar), with the ability to use data to improve social media strategies.
    • Experience in creating content for social media that resonates with audiences and drives engagement.
    • Basic knowledge of SEO principles as they relate to social media and visual content.
    • Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques, including visual media and entertainment.
  • Creative & Strategic Thinking:
    • Creative thinking and the ability to produce innovative and visually appealing content.
    • Ability to redefine a design brief and meet the constraints of cost, time, and branding requirements.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and communicate design concepts and strategies.

  • Technical & Production Knowledge:
    • Knowledge of production methods in graphic arts, printing, film, radio, and television.
    • Keeping abreast of developments in design programs and social media trends.
