Job Summary:
One of our clients is looking for dynamic, aggressive, and results-driven Business Development Manager with strong ADNOC and EPC exposure to aggressively grow the company’s oil & gas business. The role is responsible for business development, supplier onboarding, strategic partnerships, and KPI-driven agreement closures, while also leading, mentoring, and supervising junior team members to ensure a high-performance and positive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business Development & Market Growth
•Drive aggressive business development strategies aligned with ADNOC and EPC project pipelines.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, suppliers, and strategic partners.
• Build and maintain a strong, measurable opportunity pipeline.
• Actively engage with EPC contractors, ADNOC end users, consultants, and key decision-makers.
- Supplier Identification & Onboarding (Core KPI)
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-quality OEMs, manufacturers, and package suppliers.
• Lead end-to-end supplier onboarding, ensuring 100% compliance with technical, commercial, and contractual requirements.
• Achieve minimum KPI targets for signed agreements and fully completed documentation.
• Ensure suppliers meet quality, cost, delivery, and compliance standards.
- Contracts, Negotiation & Commercial Control
• Aggressively negotiate commercial terms, pricing, exclusivity, and after-sales commitments.
• Finalize NDA, MoU, agency, and distribution agreements in coordination with legal and management.
• Ensure all agreements are commercially sound and risk-controlled.
- ADNOC & EPC Project Support
• Support ADNOC and EPC tenders, RFQs, and bids with approved and competitive supplier solutions.
• Coordinate technical and commercial clarifications between suppliers, EPCs, and internal teams.
• Ensure alignment with ADNOC specifications, EPC standards, and project timelines.
- Team Leadership, Supervision & Mentoring
• Supervise, monitor, and mentor junior staff within the business development and trading team.
• Ensure a professional, positive, and productive working atmosphere in the office.
• Guide and support team members in daily tasks, priorities, and decision-making.
• Actively answer questions, provide direction, and resolve uncertainties raised by junior staff.
• Provide technical guidance and commercial support to team members where required.
• Assist the team in navigating challenges, solving problems, and removing obstacles to achieve positive business outcomes.
• Monitor individual and team performance, providing continuous feedback and improvement guidance.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and alignment with company objectives.
- KPI Management & Reporting
• Own and deliver clear KPIs, including:
o Number of onboarded suppliers
o Signed agreements per quarter/year
o Revenue contribution from onboarded suppliers
•Track and report performance to senior management.
•Continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness of supplier onboarding and BD activities.
Requirements:
- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- •Minimum 10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas / EPC / Industrial Trading.
- •Proven exposure to ADNOC, EPC contractors, or major NOCs/IOCs.
- •Strong experience in supplier sourcing, onboarding, agreement management, and team supervision.
- •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
