Roles & Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials, ensuring efficient workflow in warehouses and production areas.
• Meticulously inspect and maintain machinery and equipment, performing routine checks and reporting any defects or malfunctions promptly.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and operating machinery within designated parameters.
• Monitor machine operations to detect potential issues and make minor adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
• Accurately record production data, material movements, and equipment status using logs, computer systems, or other designated tracking methods.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Possess a valid forklift operator certification, demonstrating proficiency in safe and effective operation.
• Exhibit a strong understanding of warehouse operations, material handling principles, and inventory management practices.
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
• Possess basic mechanical aptitude to perform pre-operation checks and minor troubleshooting on machinery.
• Be physically fit and capable of lifting and maneuvering materials up to 50 lbs, with the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
