The Hotel Cleanliness Expert ensures the cleanliness, tidiness and maintenance of the guest rooms in his or her assigned areas according to the hotel\u2019s standards. He or she attends to guests\u2019 needs.<\/p>\n\n

Essential functions<\/h4>\n

• Ensure master key is received and returned.<\/li>\n
• Ensure work assignment is received, correctly filled and returned.<\/li>\n
• Make up guest room daily.<\/li>\n
• Perform night turndown service daily.<\/li>\n
• Tidy up guest items as directed by procedure.<\/li>\n
• Keep your work environment clean and tidy.<\/li>\n
• Clean and maintain all marble and granite floors daily.<\/li>\n
• Clean and maintain guestroom carpets, wallpapers, furniture and bathrooms daily.<\/li>\n
• Clean and maintain guest hallway carpets, wallpapers and furniture daily.<\/li>\n
• Report defects on fixed assets, furniture and equipment.<\/li>\n
• Report all lost and found items to housekeeping.<\/li>\n
• Report any unusual and suspicious behavior of guests or staff.<\/li>\n
• Ensure compliance with grooming and uniform standards.<\/li>\n
• Ensure compliance with legislated health and safety requirements within the workplace.<\/li>\n
• Conduct duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with St. Regis Hotel, Abu Dhabi policies and procedures, ensuring that the highest level of service and communication is maintained.<\/li>\n
• Comply with all corporate and hotel standards and procedures.<\/li>\n
• Promote by example the principles of \u201cbespoke and uncompromising service.\u201d<\/li>\n
• Actively promote a work environment which cares for guests and associates alike.<\/li>\n
• Able to work any shift assigned by the housekeeping managers.<\/li>\n
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobby and public restrooms.<\/li>\n
• Report any damage of carpets and upholsteries.<\/li>\n
• Ensure the use of cleaning chemicals is according to the instructions set by the hotel.<\/li>\n
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of cleaning equipment.<\/li>\n
• Ensure that all associates comply with grooming and uniform standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

  Qualification standards<\/h4>\n

  • Minimum 2 years working in hotels or housekeeping jobs in the service industry is required.<\/li>\n
  • Able to work any shift assigned by your supervisor.<\/li>\n
  • Able to withstand and handle dusty and unclean work environments.<\/li>\n
  • Able to read and write simple English.<\/li>\n
  • Education: Graduation degree required.<\/li>\n
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years working in hotels or housekeeping jobs in the service industry is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
