Roles & Responsibilities
Operate and monitor the Tandem Mill Pulpit to ensure smooth and efficient rolling mill operations.
Control rolling parameters, production speed, and product dimensions from the pulpit.
Monitor equipment performance and respond promptly to operational issues.
Coordinate with mill operators, maintenance, and production teams to minimize downtime.
Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved.
Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in a relevant technical field is advantageous.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience operating rolling mills, preferably in a tandem mill environment.
- Proven ability to interpret and respond to complex control system interfaces and data readouts.
- Strong understanding of metallurgy and the mechanical properties of metals relevant to rolling processes.
