الغرض من دور معلم الرياضيات الأساسية هو تقديم تجارب تدريس وتعلم ذات جودة عالية تدعم التطور الأكاديمي والاجتماعي والعاطفي للطلاب الصغار. يخلق المعلم بيئة صف آمنة وشاملة وجذابة حيث يُشجَّع جميع الأطفال على بلوغ إمكاناتهم الكاملة. من خلال التخطيط والتدريس والتقييم، يلعب معلم الصف الأساسي دوراً رئيسياً في بناء مهارات أساسية في القراءة والكتابة والرياضيات والتفكير النقدي، مع تعزيز حب التعلم مدى الحياة.

- التخطيط والإعداد وتقديم دروس جذابة مناسبة لعمر الطلاب وفق المنهج الدراسي المدرسي.
- خلق بيئة صفية إيجابية وشاملة وآمنة تدعم الاحتياجات التعليمية المتنوعة لجميع الطلاب.
- استخدام مجموعة متنوعة من طرق التدريس والموارد لدعم أنماط تعلم وقدرات مختلفة.
- تقييم وتسجيل وتقرير التقدم ونمو وتحقيق الطلاب بشكل منتظم.
- تقديم تغذية راجعة بناءة وفي الوقت المناسب للطلاب والوالدين أو الأوصياء.
- تطوير والحفاظ على روتين صفّي يعزز الاحترام والمسؤولية والسلوك الإيجابي.
- التعاون مع الزملاء وموظفي الدعم وقيادة المدرسة لتحسين التجربة التعليمية لجميع الطلاب.
- المشاركة في اجتماعات الموظفين والتطوير المهني ومؤتمرات الوالدين والمعلمين والفعاليات المدرسية.

الخبرة:
- خبرة سابقة في تعليم أطفال في المرحلة الابتدائية (عادةً 1–3 سنوات أو أكثر)

ISP Elementary 1st Grade Teacher Role Profile
Purpose of Role
The purpose of the Elementary Teacher role is to provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences that support the academic, social, and emotional development of young students. The teacher creates a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment where all children are encouraged to reach their full potential. Through planning, instruction, and assessment, the elementary teacher plays a key role in building foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking, while fostering a lifelong love of learning.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that supports the diverse learning needs of all students.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to support different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess, record, and report on the progress, development, and attainment of students regularly.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents or guardians.
- Develop and maintain classroom routines that promote respect, responsibility, and positive behaviour.
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership to enhance the educational experience for all students.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create a supportive, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
- Effective classroom management and behaviour management skills
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital teaching tools
- Ability to assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field
- Teaching certification or licensure valid for the specific state, region, or country
- Additional qualifications or training in special education, literacy, or curriculum development (desirable)
Experience:
- Previous experience teaching elementary-aged children (typically 1–3 years or more)
- Experience working with children of diverse backgrounds and learning abilities
- Familiarity with the curriculum and educational standards relevant to the school
- Experience in lesson planning, assessment, and classroom management
- Participation in professional development and ongoing teacher training
