The ETC NRI Forum – UAE is a country-specific strategic forum established to engage Indian Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) based in the UAE who wish to contribute to India-linked and global economic transformation initiatives.

Please note that an annual membership fee will be applicable for selected candidates, based on the tier of membership and level of strategic engagement within the ETC NRI Forum – UAE.

Founding Members will play a defining role in shaping the vision, structure, and long-term direction of the UAE Chapter, acting as a bridge between:

Role Overview: Founding Member
As a Founding Member of the ETC NRI Forum – UAE, you will serve as a strategic contributor, ambassador, and ecosystem builder, supporting ETC’s mission through thought leadership, network building, advisory input, and selective investment or partnership facilitation. This is not an employment or salaried role. It is an honorary, strategic council position focused on collaboration, influence, and long-term impact.
Key Responsibilities
Founding Members are expected to:
Strategic & Advisory Contribution Provide strategic insights based on UAE market experience, sector knowledge, and global exposure Contribute to shaping the UAE Chapter’s roadmap, priorities, and engagement strategy Advise ETC on cross-border opportunities, India–UAE collaboration, and diaspora-led initiatives
Ecosystem & Network Building
Act as an ETC Ambassador within professional, business, and investor circles in the UAEFacilitate introductions to:Entrepreneurs Investors & Family Offices Corporate leaders Institutions & policy stakeholders Support formation of strategic partnerships and knowledge exchanges
Program & Initiative Support
Engage with ETC initiatives across:Investment & project facilitation Industry & MSME development Sustainability, environment & ESGInnovation, technology & talent development Participate in forums, roundtables, delegations, and curated events (virtual or physical)
Capital & Opportunity Enablement (Optional)
Support capital mobilization or opportunity evaluation aligned with ETC’s frameworks Mentor or guide early-stage or growth initiatives where relevant Enable structured collaboration between UAE-based stakeholders and ETC projects
Who Should Apply (Eligibility & Profile)
We are inviting Indian NRIs based in the UAE who meet the following criteria:
Nationality & Residency Indian passport holder Currently residing and professionally active in the UAE
Professional Background
Applicants should have experience in one or more of the following:Entrepreneurship / Business Ownership Investment, Finance, Private Equity, Venture Capital Family Office or Wealth Management Corporate Leadership or Strategy Infrastructure, Technology, Manufacturing, Trade, or Services Sustainability, ESG, Environment, or Development sectors
Experience & Seniority Typically 10+ years of professional or entrepreneurial experience Proven credibility, leadership, or influence within professional or business networks
Personal Attributes Strong interest in India-linked and global economic development Long-term, purpose-driven mindset Willingness to contribute time, expertise, and strategic access High ethical standards and collaborative approach
