The Slickline Assistant Operator supports slickline operations for oil and gas wells, both onshore and offshore in the UAE. The role involves assisting with the rig-up and rig-down of slickline equipment, operating tools under supervision, maintaining equipment, and ensuring all activities are carried out safely and efficiently in accordance with company and client procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation, rig-up, operation, and rig-down of slickline equipment and tools.
• Support the Slickline Operator during well intervention and maintenance activities.
• Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and housekeeping of slickline units and associated equipment.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and industry standards.
• Participate in pre-job safety meetings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and job activities.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and mobilization of equipment to onshore and offshore locations.
• Report equipment defects, hazards, and safety concerns promptly.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in oilfield services, well intervention, or slickline operations is preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of oilfield equipment.
• Ability to work in demanding onshore and offshore environments.
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
• Offshore certifications such as BOSIET, H2S, and First Aid are advantageous.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
