This opportunity is with a Multinational company, a global leader specializing in advanced industrial products and services for the energy and mobility sectors into manufacturing of products in stainless steel and high-nickel alloy.
In this position you would be responsible for the following:
• Perform NDI inspections on stainless steel and CRA alloys components and materials in accordance with established procedures and industry standards.
• Utilize various NDT techniques such as ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), dye penetrant testing (PT), and radiographic testing (RT) to detect defects, cracks, and other imperfections.
• Interpret and evaluate test results to determine conformity to specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain and calibrate NDI equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of inspection results.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address NDI-related issues, provide technical support, and assist in root cause analysis of defects.
• Generate detailed inspection reports documenting findings, conclusions, and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulatory requirements during all NDI activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance NDI processes, efficiency, and quality control measures.
To be successful you would ideally possess:
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year in the oil and gas industry.
• Mechanical trade certification or diploma in a related field is required.
• NDT Level II certification in accordance with ASNT (American Society for Non-Destructive Testing) standards.
• Extensive knowledge of NDT techniques and their applications in the oil and gas sector.
• Experience in inspecting stainless steel and CRA alloys preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical specifications and drawings.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in inspection and reporting.
