Black & Grey HR is seeking a Senior Institutional analytics Officer for a top university in the Northern Emirates. This role involves leading efforts to ensure the institution continuously improves through effective assessment and evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the Unit of Assessment and Effectiveness to meet its goals and align with the institution's strategic objectives.
- Review and provide feedback on annual effectiveness reports from all colleges.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement across all university units by guiding and supporting assessment practices.
- Develop and run training programs for faculty and staff on institutional effectiveness.
- Organize and lead workshops to improve understanding of assessment processes.
- Research and apply best practices and bench marking in institutional improvement.
- Conduct surveys to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Create and manage plans for evaluating educational outcomes, ensuring they align with the institution's goals.
- Assess new academic programs and recommend improvements as needed.
- Prepare annual and survey reports, and provide corrective action reports.
- Audit course files and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate meetings and prepare responses to external review reports.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the Executive Director of OIPE.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of experience in assessment and effectiveness reporting.
- Proven experience managing institutional effectiveness projects.
- Experience working with senior academics and meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of assessment practices and continuous improvement strategies.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Skilled in IT, including data analysis and database management.
