Job Overview:

We are seeking a professional and courteous Temporary Receptionist to join our team for a period of 1 month. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support and ensure the smooth operation of the front desk by greeting visitors, managing communications, and assisting with various office tasks. This short-term role is ideal for someone who is adaptable, organized, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front Desk Management:
  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate personnel or department.
  • Manage visitor logs and issue visitor badges.
  • Phone and Email Handling:
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally.
  • Manage and distribute incoming emails and other correspondence.
  • Administrative Tasks:
  • Schedule meetings, manage conference rooms, and assist with office calendars.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and courier services.
  • Office Support:
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
  • Assist in ordering office supplies as needed.
  • Provide general clerical support to staff, including photocopying, filing, and data entry.
  • Assistance with Special Projects:
  • Provide support for any short-term projects during the month as needed by different departments.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience as a receptionist or in a customer-facing role preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A professional demeanor and appearance.

Duration:

  • 1-month temporary position, with potential for extension if needed.
