Job Overview:
We are seeking a professional and courteous Temporary Receptionist to join our team for a period of 1 month. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support and ensure the smooth operation of the front desk by greeting visitors, managing communications, and assisting with various office tasks. This short-term role is ideal for someone who is adaptable, organized, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Management:
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate personnel or department.
- Manage visitor logs and issue visitor badges.
- Phone and Email Handling:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally.
- Manage and distribute incoming emails and other correspondence.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Schedule meetings, manage conference rooms, and assist with office calendars.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and courier services.
- Office Support:
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
- Assist in ordering office supplies as needed.
- Provide general clerical support to staff, including photocopying, filing, and data entry.
- Assistance with Special Projects:
- Provide support for any short-term projects during the month as needed by different departments.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a receptionist or in a customer-facing role preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A professional demeanor and appearance.
Duration:
- 1-month temporary position, with potential for extension if needed.
