Currently House of Shipping is recruiting for a Reception/ Travel desk Professional to join the team.
Job purpose
Reception / Travel Desk will be dual position with efficient front desk handling for a warm
welcoming experience and coordinating in providing seamless business travel arrangements (visa,
tickets, hotel etc.) for employees.
Roles and Responsibilities
Reception Desk
- Reception desk and Visitor management (organized front desk, entry permit, guest handling,
- etc.,)
- Professional call handling (call screening, promptness, directing enquiry calls etc.,)
- Courier I mail management and admin support like office supplies, telephone, business cards etc.,
- Adhoc HR tasks for support and assistance
- Proactive to maintain safe and secure working environment
Travel Desk
- Timely support on employee business travel arrangements - flights, hotels, etc.,
- Ensure proper approvals as per company policy are in place before release of travel documents
- Coordination with travel agents, hotels etc., for cost effective travel quotes
- Consolidating regular travel desk reporting for management review
Education/ Experience and Competencies
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiar with travel desk management
- MS Office proficiency mandatory
- Prioritize and handle time sensitive duties within deadlines
- Proactive approach on issue handling
- Multitasking, patience and pleasant approach to work
