- Lead, mentor, and coordinate the workshop team and drivers to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections for the heavy vehicle fleet and associated equipment to ensure maximum availability and reliability.
- Manage the inventory of spare parts and consumables, ensuring adequate stock levels while controlling costs.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors for parts procurement, negotiating terms, and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Monitor market trends, operational efficiency, and implement best practices to enhance workshop productivity and service quality.
- Ensure all workshop operations adhere to company policies and industry safety standards.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in heavy vehicle mechanics/auto-diesel, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or workshop management role.
- Proven track record in effectively managing teams, including technicians and drivers, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in Arabic and English (both written and spoken). Proficiency in Hindi is a mandatory requirement.
- In-depth technical knowledge of heavy equipment, diagnostics, and maintenance protocols.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
