This role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical systems at the STP. By supporting maintenance, inspections, and installations in accordance with safety standards, this position helps minimize equipment downtime, prevent electrical hazards, and maintain uninterrupted plant operations.

What You'll drive 

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, pumps, MCC panels, and lighting circuits.
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical faults under guidance.
• Perform routine inspections of switchgear, breakers, and control panels.
• Support motor insulation testing and brake system inspections.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and ensure proper housekeeping in work areas.
• Follow lock-out/tag-out procedures and adhere strictly to safety protocols.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment.

• Possesses basic knowledge of electrical systems and applicable safety standards.
• Reads and interprets simple wiring diagrams.
• Demonstrates willingness to learn and work effectively under supervision.
• Works well in a team environment and communicates clearly with colleagues.
• Is able to work in outdoor conditions and confined spaces.
• Adheres strictly to PPE requirements and safety guidelines.
• Holds an ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Has 1–3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in STP or industrial plant environments.
