Overview of the Role
We are looking for a commercially minded Financial Analyst to support our EV Finance operations in the UAE. Reporting to the Senior Financial Controller – EV Finance UAE, you will play a critical role in financial planning, control, and performance analysis across dealership operations. This role is central to delivering timely, accurate insights that support informed decision-making and sustainable business growth within a fast evolving electric vehicle environment.
What You Will Do
• Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts covering sales, aftersales, and dealership operating expenses
• Track actual performance against budgets and forecasts, analysing variances and providing clear, business focused explanations
• Support rolling forecasts, scenario planning, and volume margin sensitivity analysis
• Coordinate and support month end closing activities, including accruals, provisions, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Review branch-level financials to ensure accurate revenue recognition, cost allocation, and inventory accounting in line with group policies and IFRS
• Analyse profitability by vehicle model, variant, channel, and campaign, including margin bridge analysis
• Evaluate aftersales performance (service, parts, warranty, and accessories) and identify margin improvement and cost optimisation opportunities
• Prepare monthly management reports and dashboards, highlighting KPIs, trends, risks, and opportunities
• Act as a finance business partner to dealership operations, sales, and aftersales teams, providing actionable insights and recommendations

Required Skills to Be Successful
• Qualified Accountant or equivalent graduate qualification
• 4–5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the automotive industry
• Previous experience in a similar role within a large or world class organisation is an advantage
• Strong commercial awareness combined with a proactive, analytical mindset
