Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Income Auditor to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an Income Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records by conducting thorough audits and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and local regulations.


  • Balance and audit all Front Office postings and settlements
  • Verify and monitor all hotel reports and night audit reports
  • Reconcile credit card commissions and food and beverage point of sale systems
  • Monitor front office rebates and review F&B voids for proper authorization
  • Prepare daily operational packages for management review
  • Assist with month-end closing and analysis of bank accounts
  • Prepare month-end income journal entries according to company policies
  • Report any discrepancies or issues to the Audit Supervisor or Accountant
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Assist in conducting surprise float counts and other accounting tasks as required
  • Stay updated on local financial regulations and standards in Dubai, UAE

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in income auditing or a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Proficiency in financial management software, including Sun System, Opera, Micros, and Vision
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, auditing procedures, and financial reporting standards
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with various departments and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in financial practices
  • Knowledge of local financial regulations and standards in Dubai, UAE
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed
