About Dubai Foundation for Women and Children:


   The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children is the first authorized non-profit shelter and humanitarian care in the United Arab Emirates to care for women and children who are victims of domestic violence, child abuse, and victims of human trafficking. It was established in late 2007 in order to provide victims with immediate shelter, protection and support services, in accordance with international human rights conventions.



  • Receiving, registering, and following up on incoming and outgoing correspondence, and presenting it to the Director of the Corporate Support Department.


  • Drafting, reviewing, and proofreading all outgoing correspondence, submitting it to the Director of the Corporate Support Department for approval, and electronically archiving all correspondence.


  • Regularly updating contact details of external entities and stakeholders.


  • Managing the petty cash of the Office of the Director of the Corporate Support Department, including receipt, disbursement, and reconciliation.


  • Preparing and organizing all requirements for departmental management meetings and following up on directives and decisions issued by the Director of Corporate Support.


  • Preparing all requirements for internal and external committees and teams chaired by or involving the Director of the Corporate Support Department.


  • Acting as Rapporteur/Secretary of the Leadership Team and submitting periodic reports to the Director of Corporate Support on the team’s performance and achievement rates.


  • Drafting minutes of internal and external meetings of the Director General and following up on the implementation of their recommendations.


  • Bachelor's degree in Management or Public Relations or International Relations 
  • Experience as an executive secretary.
