and self-driven professionals to join our team in UAE and help us revolutionize
online shopping in the region. Workforce Staffing (WFS), a division of Worldwide
Operations People, Product & Tech, manages Amazon's Tier 1 talent (Front-line
associates) supply chain in UAE. We attract, hire, and onboard associates who
fulfill orders at the frontlines of our UAE operations, contributing to Amazon's
growing presence in the AMET region. This encompasses market analytics,
candidate attraction and communication, strategic sourcing, staffing execution at
scale, and vendor management. The Workforce Staffing Coordinator role is
crucial in partnering with our staffing agencies for hiring field associates. This
position requires strong knowledge of the UAE labor market and local
employment regulations. The role holder will interface with business partners
and staffing agencies to ensure timely hiring of qualified talent.
Key job responsibilities
• Source candidates through relevant UAE recruitment channels and manage
relationships with local staffing agencies, ensuring candidates meet Amazon's
hiring standards
• Execute and audit New Hiring Events (NHE) based on labor projections,
considering seasonal demands and local market conditions
• Guide staffing vendors & applicants through the hiring process in accordance
with both Amazon's policies and UAE labor laws
• Monitor compliance with local employment regulations while maintaining
Amazon's global standards
• Develop & maintain effective communication processes among stakeholders.
• Support the development of staffing vendors that align with Egyptian market
conditions
• Maintain strong understanding of UAE labor market trends and talent
availability
- 6+ months of human resources experience
- 6+ months of customer service experience
- 6+ months of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- High school or equivalent Experience in confidential environments
- Preferred qualifications
- 1+ years of human resources experience
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- Experience in recruiting especially high volume hiring, both within direct hiring and outsourcing capacities
- Experience working in a fast paced, quickly changing or international environment
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis, or experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making
- Experience recruiting, hiring and developing talent
- academic program that is physically located in the United States in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience working for Amazon or any Amazon subsidiary or affiliate
- Experience driving projects to improve operations and support-related processes
