Responsible for marketing of the group’s, region’s, and/or facility’s objectives to the public and stakeholders. Is the communication authority for the company on the group’s, region’s, and/or facility’s vision, mission and values. Coordinates marketing and communication goals across the business entites to ensure consistency in approach and tone.
Responsibilities:
Marketing activities • Plans, organizes, and coordinates: project related events, exhibitions, campaigns/event management; advertising; promotional activities; sponsorship; marketing materials and marketing research
• Collaborates with senior management and all concerned staff on developing material, plans, etc for the launch and marketing of new services
• Maintains a close awareness of best practice and industry standards in the different functional areas, and develops the department towards these benchmarks.
• Oversees the development of and gathering of relevant market reasearch and data to assist in rendering decision useful information in relation to marketing and communications strategies
• Work closely with the MARCOM team on issuing RFPs for different services from external parties
• Draft messages or scripts from senior executives for presentation to employees in written or spoken form
• Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organisation
Communications activities • Plan and implement editorial calendar
• Prepare and publish articles that describe our company and products
• Write clean, concise, well-polished content
• Research industry-related topics and identify gaps in our content
• Ensure all content is up-to-date
• Maintain a content calendar that schedules all aspects of the creation and delivery of content throughout the year
• Stay abreast of current best practices in the industry and review competitor websites to compare their activities with those of your company
• Determine sources for content creation (both internal and external)
Brand development, promotion and protection • Manages the the group’s and/or facility’s brand identity
• Establishes, promotes and protect the brand integrity of the group, region, and/or facility
• Ensures that all users of the SEHA and/or facility brands are monitored for compliance with brand use guidelines
• Seeks opportunities to promote the brand
• Reacts swiftly and decisively in cases where the brand is treatened or compromised.
• Oversees the implimentation of the SEHA and/or facility logo in signage, stationary, promotional items, exhibitions, sponsorships and related marketing and communications activities
Media Relations • Establishes relationships with media representatives in the UAE and GCC markets in accordance with SEHA Policies and Procedures.
Public Relations • Oversees and coordinates responses to press inquiries, development of press releases about SEHA and/or facility activities, published plans, controversies and marketing efforts in collaboration with senior managements and schedules all interviews with media
• Handles public relations activities, and submits for approval all external communications to the appropriate delegate in accordance with the SEHA CG Framework
Event Management • Approves all sponsorship activities that use the SEHA and/or facility brands
• Proposes exibit schedule and participation levels as part of the budget process
• Approves the budget and exhibit constuction standards for exhibitions including all artwork and supporting graphics to SEHA standards.
Planning • Supports the creation, implementation, and delivery of the group’s, region’s and/or facilities’ annual marketing strategies/plans

Required:
4 – 6 years of experience are required.
• The individual should have broad based expereince in the healthcare field and understand the business impact of marketing and communications on brand identity
• Knowledge of health sector in the UAE and GCC.
• Knowledge of the regulatory conditions and best channels for promoting health services in the UAE and GCC.
• Experience selecting and managing marketing and advertising agencies, print and media companies.
• Demonstrated understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
• Evidence of strategic planning and new process and programs implementation through data analysis and cost effective interactions.
