Job Details



  • Oversee and manage the quality assurance and quality control processes for civil construction projects.

  • Develop, implement, and enforce quality management plans and procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.

  • Ensure that all materials used on-site meet the required specifications and standards, including verifying material certifications and conducting material inspections as necessary.

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of finished work to ensure compliance with project quality standards and specifications, with a strong focus on civil finishes

  • Coordinate with project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and designers, to ensure quality control throughout the construction phases.

  • Review and approve work processes and techniques related to civil finishes, including surface preparation, application methods, and finishing techniques.

  • Monitor the implementation of corrective actions where defects or deviations from quality standards are identified.

  • Prepare and submit detailed quality reports, including inspection findings, corrective actions, and quality assessments to project management.

  • Provide guidance and training to project staff on quality assurance processes, quality control procedures, and best practices for civil finishing work.

  • Ensure that all safety and environmental standards are maintained in the execution of all quality control activities.

  • Resolve any quality-related issues or disputes with subcontractors, suppliers, or project teams.



Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the construction industry

  • Proven experience (X+ years) in QA/QC management in civil construction, with specific experience in overseeing civil finishing works.

  • In-depth knowledge of quality control systems, construction standards, and industry regulations.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.

  • Proficient in using quality management software and tools.

  • Relevant certifications in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) are a plus.

  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations related to civil construction projects.
