Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out projects including office spaces, retail stores, hospitality, and healthcare facilities.



  • Review drawings, specifications, and scope of work to prepare comprehensive cost plans.



  • Liaise with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather project information and obtain competitive pricing.



  • Evaluate and compare subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure accuracy and completeness.



  • Develop and maintain a cost database for historical project benchmarking and pricing intelligence.



  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and commercial teams to develop value engineering options and cost-saving alternatives.



  • Participate in tender reviews, bid strategies, and client presentations.



  • Monitor market trends, material costs, and construction methods to keep estimates current and competitive.



  • Lead and mentor junior estimators and support staff as required.





RequirementsRequirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.



  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in estimating, with at least 5 years in interior fit-out projects.



  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.



  • Proficient in estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, CostX, Candy, Excel) and Microsoft Office Suite.



  • Knowledge of local market pricing, subcontractors, and suppliers.



  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.



  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.



  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
