  • Create accurate and detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings for interior joinery projects, including furniture, cabinets, fixtures, and fittings.

  • Develop drawings that incorporate joinery concepts, construction methods, and material specifications.

  • Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards, building codes, and project requirements.

  • Include relevant details, dimensions, and annotations in the drawings.

  • Collaborate with interior designers, architects, and other professionals to understand project requirements, design intent, and joinery specifications.

  • Communicate effectively with the project team to clarify design details and resolve potential issues related to joinery.

  • Participate in design and coordination meetings to provide technical input and support.

  • Work closely with the joinery team to select appropriate materials, finishes, and components for each joinery element.

  • Incorporate material and component specifications into the drawings.

  • Ensure drawings accurately represent the desired aesthetics and functionality of the joinery.

  • Revise and update existing drawings based on feedback, design changes, or project modifications.

  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date drawing database, ensuring accurate document control.

  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to incorporate revisions and ensure seamless project progression.

  • Conduct regular quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project standards.

  • Review joinery shop drawings and coordinate with the joinery team to address any discrepancies or technical issues.

  • Verify that the joinery work meets design specifications and industry best practices.



Requirements

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software with a minimum of 4 years of UAE experience in drafting and detailing.

  • Applicants should be in UAE to attend the direct interview

  • Understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to joinery.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to create accurate and precise technical drawings.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a project team.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.

  • Previous experience in the interior design joinery industry is preferred.
