About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced house manager to join their private household in Dubai, UAE. As a house manager, you will report directly to the owner and be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the residence, ensuring the household runs smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, discreet, and proactive, with strong household management, staff supervision, and vendor coordination skills.

About the requirements

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the private residence, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and readiness at all times.
• Develop and maintain household manuals, inventory systems, schedules, and operational procedures.
• Supervise household staff including housekeepers, chefs, nannies, gardeners, and other domestic personnel; support hiring, training, and scheduling.
• Coordinate and supervise external vendors and contractors, including negotiating contracts and monitoring service quality.
• Plan and execute private events, dinners, and gatherings, ensuring impeccable hospitality and presentation.
• Manage household budgets, expense reporting, petty cash, calendar management, and travel coordination.
• Handle all confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
• Ensure household security, privacy, and compliance with all established systems and protocols.

About you

• Proven experience as a house manager, estate manager, or similar role, preferably within a private or UHNW household.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills with experience supervising domestic staff.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of discretion, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced private household environment.
• Experience working in the UAE or GCC is highly preferred.
