Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present a variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, breads, and confectionery items.

  • Design customized desserts based on family preferences, special occasions, and dietary requirements.

  • Develop new recipes and menus, ensuring creativity and variety.

  • Manage daily kitchen pastry operations within the household.

  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of all ingredients.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with UAE food safety regulations.

  • Monitor inventory of baking ingredients and coordinate purchasing when required.

  • Handle special event preparations (birthdays, gatherings, celebrations).

  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times within the private residence.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the UAE as a Pastry Chef or Baker.

  • Proven experience in a hotel, restaurant, or private household.

  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry arts, and dessert presentation.

  • Familiarity with international desserts (French pastries, cakes, plated desserts, etc.).

  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

  • Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to family preferences.

  • Diploma or certification in Pastry & Bakery Arts or Culinary Arts.

  • Experience working in VIP or private households.

  • Basic knowledge of healthy, gluten-free, or sugar-free desserts.
