Role Description The Operations Manager – HVAC Insulation Manufacturing (XLPE, NBR/PBR) is a full-time, on-site role based in Sharjah. This role oversees daily manufacturing operations for HVAC insulation products, ensuring production plans are met safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. Responsibilities include managing production schedules, coordinating raw material availability, supervising shop-floor teams, and optimizing processes for XLPE and NBR/PBR insulation lines. The Operations Manager monitors KPIs, implements continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. The role also involves close collaboration with quality control, maintenance, procurement, and sales teams to support timely deliveries, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Strong background in operations management, production planning, and process optimization within manufacturing, preferably HVAC or insulation. Knowledge of XLPE and NBR/PBR insulation manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality standards. Experience leading and developing shop-floor teams, including performance management, training, and safety culture reinforcement. Ability to analyze production data, track KPIs, and use problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, 5S). Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to industrial manufacturing operations. Effective communication and coordination skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners. Proficiency with basic manufacturing software and MS Office tools for reporting, scheduling, and documentation. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field; relevant technical diploma with strong experience may be considered. Prior experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or related industrial sectors in the region is an advantage. Ability to work on-site in Sharjah and adapt to a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
