We are hiring for HSE Engineer position, in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities : 1. Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, standards, and EPC project practices.2. Experience in hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures.3. Familiarity with construction safety (scaffolding, excavation, lifting, confined space, hot works).4. Good communication and leadership skills to influence contractors and multicultural workforces. 5. Proficiency in incident investigation techniques (e.g., root cause analysis).6. Experience in offshore projects in GCC & other locations is preferred, but not essential.7. Project work experience related to ADNOC Group Companies would be advantageous.
Required Qualifications & Skills: 1. Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering OR Bachelor Degree in relevant Science OR HSE discipline (from an institution of higher learning authorized to grant academic degrees in the country of issue).2. Minimum one of the following:• NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent (Subject to approval by ADNOC Group)• Any other HSE certifications (considered at ADNOC Group discretion)3. Mandatory:• Lead auditor ISO 45001/ ISO 14001 or equivalent.• Incident Investigation techniques.4. Additional HSE Trainings / Certifications will be added advantage.5. Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in HSE in construction, fabrication, installation and/or commissioning projects / operations in the oil & gas or petrochemical industries.6. Have strong understanding of the HSE issues, practices and behavioral aspects in the Oil & Gas EPC business.7. Able to lead a team of HSE personnel such as HSE officers, hygiene officers etc.8. Sound understanding of the HSE Management System and HSE legislative requirements.
