A leading Group operating in the automotive and auto spare parts sector is looking for an experienced Warehouse Assistant Manager to support the Warehouse Manager in the efficient day-to-day management of warehouse operations.


The role will oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch operations, while supervising warehouse staff and maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy, productivity, safety and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and supervising daily warehouse operations across inbound, storage, picking and outbound activities.

  • Supervise, allocate and monitor the work of pickers, helpers and warehouse staff.

  • Ensure accurate goods receiving, put-away, binning and location management of spare parts.

  • Oversee order picking, packing and dispatch to ensure accuracy and timely deliveries.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock reconciliation and regular inventory checks.

  • Monitor stock movements and support warehouse reporting through ERP/WMS systems.

  • Ensure proper use of warehouse systems such as SAP where applicable.

  • Enforce housekeeping, safety and 5S standards within the warehouse.

  • Coordinate with Sales, Delivery and Procurement teams to ensure smooth movement and availability of goods.

  • Monitor warehouse productivity and operational KPIs.

  • Support the training and development of warehouse staff.

  • Act as a backup to the Warehouse Manager when required.

  • Identify operational issues and implement practical solutions to improve warehouse efficiency.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.

  • 4–6 years of warehouse experience, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.

  • Experience in spare parts, automotive or fast-moving distribution is strongly preferred.

  • Hands-on experience in inventory control, receiving, picking, packing and dispatch operations.

  • Working knowledge of ERP/WMS systems.

  • SAP experience will be an advantage.

  • Good command of English.

  • Hindi and/or Malayalam will be an advantage for team handling.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.


Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on warehouse professional with strong experience in warehouse operations and team supervision.

Candidates with experience in automotive spare parts, auto parts distribution or fast-moving warehouse environments will be preferred.

The candidate should be comfortable managing warehouse teams while maintaining inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, safety and timely order fulfilment.
