* Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
Assign tasks to housekeeping staff and monitor their performance throughout the day.
Inspect rooms and common areas to ensure they meet cleanliness and maintenance standards.
Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, and place orders when necessary.
Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping services, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
Liaise with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, cleaning logs, and supply usage.
Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Assist in creating and updating housekeeping procedures and checklists.
* Requirements:
Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role, with some experience in a supervisory or coordinator position.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a team.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Proficiency in using housekeeping management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in hospitality management are a plus.
Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
