Charterhouse is currently working with an Organisation within the Technology Industry who are looking to hire a PRO to join their Team within their Dubai Office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PRO to be part of a well-established organisation.
About the role
Reporting to the HR Manager, the PRO will work collaboratively with relevant functions in the Middle East and across Global Offices such as Legal, Payroll and Talent Acquisition. This role will also be responsible for the coordination between the Employer and Government Organisations; therefore, excellent communication skills with experience communicating with Government and the UAE Immigration Department is necessary for this role.
The PRO’s main responsibilities will include; obtaining new employment visas for employees, renew employee permits and facilitate cancellation of visas, coordinate medical examination required for visa processing. Strong expertise in the UAE visa process and the ever-changing labour law is needed to be able to advise employees on the rules and regulations, answering any queries that arise. The PRO will be also be accountable for maintaining records for all of the above. This role will manage company-related government documentation including trade license renewals, permits and registrations. Responsible for Emiratisation, handling recruitment as well as ensuring the company is compliant with quotas and other local mandates. Conduct other administrative tasks where required.
About you
To be considered for this role, the candidate should have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role with expert knowledge of Visa Procedures for expatriate employees and dependents as well as excellent knowledge of the Middle East labour laws with a major focus in the UAE.
The successful candidate will have a professional and personable approach with attention to detail, strong problem-solving and multitasking capability, with the ability to demonstrate exceptional organisational skills along with excellent communication skills in Arabic and English. Under Emiratisation, the candidate must also have a family book.
