Sales Consultant

Job Overview


The Sales Consultant responsible for providing exceptional customer service and expertise in selling Mercedes Benz vehicles to prospective buyers.


Key duties and Responsibilities:


  • Greet customers and establish rapport to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Mercedes Benz vehicles, including features, specifications, and benefits.
  • Assist customers in selecting the right vehicles based on their requirements and budget.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle walk-arounds, highlighting key features and addressing customer questions and concerns.
  • Coordinate and accompany customers on test drives, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Provide accurate and timely information regarding pricing, financing options, warranties, and any other relevant details.
  • Negotiate and finalize sales agreements, ensuring a seamless and transparent process.
  • Collaborate with the finance and insurance team to facilitate smooth transaction and paperwork completion.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any post-sale concerns.
  • Stay up to date with Mercedes Benz product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilize sound judgment in decision making.
  • Any other additional duties as may be required by management based on needs of the business.


Requirements:


  • Previous experience in automotive sales, preferably with a focus on luxury or high-end brands is preferred.
  • Mercedes Benz certification as a sales consultant or willingness to obtain certification is preferred.
  • High school diploma
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers.
  • Excellent customer service abilities with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in utilising customer relationship management (CRM) systems and other sales tools.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the dealership
