Role Description We are seeking a former or retired judge in UAE with strong experience in civil and commercial law, including Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), and a passion for digital transformation in the justice sector to lead our Judicial Digital Transformation Practice. This role is ideal for a judicial professional who wishes to shape the future of digital justice by leading business analysis teams and advising judicial authorities on modern, trusted, and human-centered digital justice solutions. You will lead and govern business analysis teams delivering digital justice and court modernization programs, ensuring solutions are legally compliant, operationally effective, and aligned with real judicial practices. You will also act as a strategic advisor to judicial leadership and Ministries of Justice, bridging law, courts, and technology.
Key Responsibilities Lead and govern business analysis teams supporting digital justice, court modernization, and transformation initiatives Translate judicial procedures, legal frameworks, and end-to-end dispute lifecycles (including ADR) into clear business and system requirements Advise judicial leadership and policymakers on digital transformation strategies, governance, and roadmaps Ensure compliance with judicial regulations, procedural law, data protection, and audit requirements Act as the primary interface between judges, court administrators, legal professionals, and technology delivery teams Guide the design of human-centered digital court and ADR services for judges, clerks, lawyers, mediators, and litigants Support adoption through change management, training, and stakeholder engagement across the justice ecosystem
Judicial Expertise Requirements Former or retired judge with experience in civil and commercial law, including Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) preferably in UAE. Exposure to all dispute stages: first instance, appeal, cassation, execution, and ADR mechanisms Strong understanding of judicial workflows, governance, and procedural safeguards
Digital & Consultancy Experience (Preferred) Leadership experience in judicial consulting and business analysis. Familiarity with justice digital platforms (case management systems, e-filing, e-hearings, ADR platforms, enforcement systems) Experience with digital transformation and change management in public sector or justice institutions Technical awareness of enterprise systems, integrations, and data-driven decision-making
