Job Title: Technician – DRP 2 Mechanical Shift

Location: UAE
Department: Direct Reduction Plant (DRP)

Job Purpose:

To perform mechanical maintenance activities in the Direct Reduction Plant (DRP 2) to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations during assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair rotating and static equipment such as pumps, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, and hydraulic systems.
• Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and safe work practices at all times.
• Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and shift reports.
• Support shutdown activities and major maintenance works as required.
• Coordinate with operations and other maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within DRP, steel, or heavy industrial plants.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Willingness to work in shift schedules
