The Workshop Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fleet maintenance workshop. This includes managing a team of technicians and mechanics, ensuring the timely maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining high standards of quality and cost-effectiveness in service delivery.
Requirements
-To support a workshop with 200+ fleets of multifarious brands and models, equipments for loading and offloading, etc.
-A Diploma in Automobile Engineering with 5 – 8 years of experience on brands like, Mercedes, MAN, Volvo, TCM, CAT etc.
-Must have good command over English and Arabic languages,
-Valid UAE Driving License,
-Initiates automotive services and repairs by ascertaining performance problems; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders and maintaining records.
-Demonstrates with commendable knowledge on the fault identified over Heavy Trucks and Vehicles, Forklifts and Commercial Vehicles.
-Ascertains automotive problems and services by listening to the driver’s description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems; conducting inspections; taking test drives; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules.
-Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records, develops estimates based on materials, supplies, and labor costs.
-Prepares repair orders by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering repair orders into service database system.
-Maintains automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned.
