Job purpose
The business systems analyst designs and enables data-driven business systems, analytics, and AI-powered solutions to support the real estate operating model and informed enterprise decision-making. The role bridges business, technology, and governance teams to deliver integrated systems, process optimization, automation, and measurable performance improvements across real estate operations and finance.
Key roles & responsibilities
Business systems analysis & requirements management
- Lead end-to-end business and systems analysis, translating business needs into BRDs, functional specifications, system requirement documents, and RTMs.
- Facilitate structured stakeholder workshops to elicit, validate, and prioritize business, data, and system requirements.
- Ensure full traceability from business objectives, processes, systems, data analytics, insights.
- Apply gap and impact analysis across processes, systems, data, and organizational capabilities.
ERP, data & enterprise systems enablement
- Support ERP and enterprise system initiatives including Yardi, SAP, Odoo, or equivalent platforms.
- Perform full-cycle ERP business analysis, including requirements gathering, data mapping, integration specifications, and UAT support.
- Define system integration requirements, API flows, and technology stack dependencies.
- Act as the primary liaison between business users, system integrators, and technical teams.
Business intelligence, data & analytics
- Define business intelligence and reporting requirements, including dashboards, KPIs, metrics, and performance baselines.
- Support data modelling, data integration, and data quality assessment across ERP, property management, finance, and operational systems.
- Translate complex datasets into actionable insights and executive-level reports.
- Collaborate with BI teams on Power BI / Tableau solutions.
AI, automation & digital enablement
- Identify and define AI-enabled and automation opportunities within real estate and enterprise processes.
- Support requirements definition for AI use cases such as forecasting, anomaly detection, performance optimization, and intelligent reporting.
- Support RPA and intelligent automation initiatives, including process discovery documents (PDDs), functional specifications, and UAT.
- Ensure responsible AI usage, data governance, and regulatory compliance.
Operating model & process design
- Support the design and enhancement of the real estate operating model across leasing, property management, asset management, facilities management, and finance.
- Develop AS-IS / TO-BE process maps aligned with the APQC Process Classification Framework (PCF).
- Perform value stream mapping and DMAIC analysis to identify inefficiencies, automation opportunities, and performance gaps.
- Ensure clear process ownership, accountability (RACI), and system alignment across business units.
Enterprise architecture & alignment
- Align business systems, analytics, and digital solutions with enterprise architecture standards.
- Support architecture modeling using TOGAF ADM and ArchiMate across business, application, and technology layers.
- Contribute to capability mapping, target operating models (TOM), and transformation roadmaps.
- Ensure consistency with enterprise integration, data, and application standards.
Performance excellence, governance & continuous improvement
- Apply data-driven and Six Sigma (DMAIC) methodologies to drive operational improvement.
- Design and support KPI / OKR frameworks, balanced scorecards, and benefits realization tracking.
- Monitor post-implementation performance and ensure measurable outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with governance, audit, risk, data protection, and regulatory frameworks.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and intelligent automation.

Minimum requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, computer science, information systems, real estate, or related discipline.
Certifications (mandatory / preferred)
- IIBA (CBAP / CCBA) – mandatory
- Six Sigma (Green Belt minimum; Black Belt preferred) – mandatory
- TOGAF (Foundation minimum) – mandatory
- ArchiMate – mandatory
- PMP / PMI-PBA / PRINCE2 – mandatory
- EFQM Assessor – preferred
Work experience
Minimum 6 years of experience in business systems analysis, ERP / digital transformation projects, and data-driven, process-led initiatives.
Language skills
Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
