Location :- Abu Dhabi, Offshore
Rotational Job :- 4 Weeks On and 4 Weeks Off
Brief about company :- Sigma Specialized Inspection (SSI) has been setting high standard inspection solutions in providing Quality Control, Non-Destructive Testing / Heat Treatment Services to the Offshore / Onshore Oilfield Industries and to Petrochemical, Power Generation, and Shipbuilding Industries throughout the Middle East region.
Sigma Specialized Inspection (SSI) is part of Mazrui International (Diversified holding group with businesses across different industries such as Financial Investments, Oil & Gas/Oilfield Services, Construction, Trading and Distribution, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Industrial Equipment), Real Estate, Retail, Hospitality, Education etc.).
Role and Responsibilities:
Supervise the inspection activities at offshore as client focal point and provide the necessary guidance for inspection. Inspection activities include, but not limited to, topside inspection, corrosion monitoring, intelligent pigging of pipelines, underwater inspection of platforms and pipelines, static equipment inspection, piping inspection, lifting equipment, project NDT works etc. Perform NDT inspection as and when requested and no inspection personnel is available offshore.
Co-ordinate with Inspection teams for their reports, review of the reports for the quality acceptance, do the RLA as per BQ maintenance management system, share the findings with the integrity engineer onshore for initiating the repair recommendation request etc.
Generate a report after completion of work with critical findings and recommendations as per the references, current industrial and international practices.
Qualifications:
Inspection Engineer / coordinator/ Sr. NDT supervisor with ASNT Level 2 UT, PT, RTFI, MT and VT and with minimum 10 years’ experience in oil and gas facilities in senior Inspection position. He should have a degree / diploma in engineering as basic qualification & mandatory to have API 510 & 570 qualifications. He should have good interpersonal skills and technical reporting skills. He should have minimum of 5 years’ experience in working at similar offshore facility. Knowledge of SAP system and its operation is preferred.
Must have experience in similar operating company for at least 5 years with exposure to corrosion monitoring techniques, intelligent pigging inspection, rope access inspection, NDT inspections, underwater inspection, PWHT, Radiography inspection and film interpretation etc.
If no inspection contractor is available at offshore, you must be able to independently perform the inspection as instructed by the integrity engineer and submit the reports.
Good English/Communication skills and should be familiar with offshore safety rules and regulations. Offshore experience is mandatory. He should be capable of interpreting structural drawings, P& ID Drawings, Isometric drawings and perform the job with minimal supervision adhering to HSE regulations of end-user. He shall be able to create drawings in AUTOCAD, isometrics or vessel drawings etc.
