Roles & Responsibilities

  • Day-to-Day Operations

    • Operates and oversees the maintenance of all equipment within the section to ensure continuity of operations in line with production plans.

    • Tallies and scans Sales Orders before dispatch and advises the line manager of any major concerns related to shipments.

    • Monitors the dispatch of goods and advises the line manager of any major concerns regarding shipments.

    • Liaises between Production Scheduling, CFS, and Shipping/Transporter companies to ensure shipments meet the agreed schedule.

    Safety, Quality & Environment

    • Ensures compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across the section to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, and a responsible environmental attitude.

    Related Assignments

    • Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics / Operations.

    Minimum Experience

    • 1–2 years of experience in Industrial Logistics.

    Skills

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and internet applications.

    • Strong analytical skills.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Strong planning and organising skills.

    • Good interpersonal skills.

    • Knowledge and skills to operate and manage all equipment within the section.
