Roles & Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Operations
Operates and oversees the maintenance of all equipment within the section to ensure continuity of operations in line with production plans.
Tallies and scans Sales Orders before dispatch and advises the line manager of any major concerns related to shipments.
Monitors the dispatch of goods and advises the line manager of any major concerns regarding shipments.
Liaises between Production Scheduling, CFS, and Shipping/Transporter companies to ensure shipments meet the agreed schedule.
Safety, Quality & Environment
Ensures compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across the section to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, and a responsible environmental attitude.
Related Assignments
Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics / Operations.
Minimum Experience
1–2 years of experience in Industrial Logistics.
Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and internet applications.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong planning and organising skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Knowledge and skills to operate and manage all equipment within the section.
