Roles & Responsibilities

Inspect utility services projects upon notification of initiation and completion, prepare Snag list and related

photos and submit to the superior. Re-inspect the same upon attendance of the same by contractor.

● Enter all the data related to the violations and the field site visits and the remarks concerned with the

diversions, the granted permits, campaigns, temporary vehicle accesses, pedestrian accesses and illegal

occupations in the allocated program in the system to use them in follow up and making reports & issuance of

Warning/Fines.

● Prepare detailed daily, weekly and monthly reports about the works he visited that include a statement and

determination of the size of completed work and the actions taken in this concern and submit them to direct

supervisor without delay.

● Conduct field visits in relation with the applications and complaints received by the Authority from the public

and to submit reports about them for necessary action. Make solution to minor problems on the spot by

contacting concerned authorities, contractors and other parties involved.

● Inspect area of responsibility to locate, identify, measure and specify the defects such as asphalt, interlock

footpaths, sign damages, signal damages, road markings and any other general defects and to report those in

the defect report form and send it to direct supervisor.

● Inspect area of responsibility to locate, identify, measure and specify the defects related to utility providers,

other Government or related agencies/ bodies, prepare and send reports to Direct Supervisor. Re-inspection

until rectification of the same by the concerned.

● Perform daily inspections according to the inspection schedules to ensure the compliance with the recognized

systems, regulations, standards and procedures of the work

● Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.

● Inspect on illegally parked heavy vehicles on right of way and arrange for locking or towing as per systems and

procedures set aside by the authority.

● Attend to emergencies informed by the Call Center or direct supervisors, and update the Call Center or senior

supervisors upon the completion of the problem.

Education

● Technical Diploma.

Skills

● Fluent in English reading, writing and speaking. Arabic will be an advantage

● Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.

● 3-5 years of working experience

● Basic Computer-literate performer.

● Good Knowledge of community/government affairs.

● Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.

● Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple

concurrent tasks

Good in civil inspector

Driving license is mandatory
