Roles & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily logistics and transportation activities for steel materials, rebar, structural steel, and related products.

  • Plan and monitor inbound and outbound deliveries to project sites, factories, and warehouses.

  • Coordinate with production, stores, procurement, and site teams for material dispatch schedules.

  • Prepare delivery schedules, gate passes, delivery notes, and transport documentation.

  • Track vehicle movement, loading/unloading activities, and ensure timely deliveries.

  • Liaise with transport vendors and drivers to optimize transportation efficiency.

  • Monitor inventory movement and update logistics records in ERP systems.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company logistics procedures.

  • Resolve delivery issues, transportation delays, and operational challenges promptly.

  • Maintain logistics reports, transportation costs, and dispatch records

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum 3–6 years of logistics coordination experience in steel manufacturing, rebar, fabrication, or construction

industries.

  • Strong understanding of steel products, transportation processes, and warehouse operations.

  • Experience working in manufacturing plants, industrial facilities, or construction environments preferred.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and logistics tracking tools.

  • Knowledge of UAE transportation and logistics regulations is an advantage.
